The Project Manager – Customer Success will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of smart metering and AMI projects for utilities, AMISPs, and ecosystem partners. This role owns both technical and operational execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with regulatory, contractual, and quality expectations.
The role acts as the single-threaded owner coordinating across internal engineering, manufacturing, field operations, IT, and external stakeholders including utilities, AMISPs, system integrators, and vendors.
Key Responsibilities
Own end-to-end smart metering / AMI project delivery, from contract kick-off to steady-state operations
Act as the primary interface with utility / AMISP customers for project planning, execution, and governance
Translate contractual scope and customer requirements into detailed project plans, milestones, and rollout schedules
Manage technical delivery including meters, communication (RF/Cellular), HES, MDMS, integrations, and system readiness
Manage operational delivery including manufacturing readiness, logistics, site readiness, field deployment, commissioning, and acceptance
Drive cross-functional coordination across Engineering, Firmware, IT, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Field Operations, and Support teams
Track project progress, dependencies, risks, and escalations; ensure proactive resolution
Ensure compliance with utility standards, regulatory guidelines, SLAs, and contractual KPIs
Lead customer reviews, progress meetings, FAT/SAT coordination, and milestone sign-offs
Ensure smooth handover to operations / support teams post go-live

Job Requirements
8–15 years of experience in Project Management / Program Management within smart metering, AMI, utilities, or infrastructure projects
Strong exposure to utility customers, AMISPs, or large-scale field deployments
Experience managing both technology platforms and physical infrastructure rollouts
Understanding of smart meters, communication technologies, HES/MDMS, and utility operations preferred
Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and cross-functional teams
Strong stakeholder management, documentation, and governance skills
Willingness to travel extensively to project locations
